Refund policy

The free trial, the EU right of withdrawal, and how to ask for your money back.

Try it before you pay

Every install can start a 14-day free trial with every feature and no card. That is the evaluation period: use it to decide whether Trau fits before you pay anything. Nothing is charged when the trial ends; Trau locks until you subscribe.

Your right of withdrawal in the EU

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason.

Our refund rule

If you ask within 14 days of a payment, we refund that payment in full. This covers renewals as well as your first payment, and applies whether you buy as a consumer or for a business.

How to ask for a refund

Email hello@codesomelabs.com from the address your license is under. Say that you want to withdraw or want a refund, and include the invoice number from your receipt or from the customer portal. You can use the EU model withdrawal form, but a plain email is enough.

We confirm by email. When a refund is due, we pay it back to the payment method you used, within 14 days of receiving your request. Once the refund goes through, the subscription ends and Trau locks.

Cancelling is not a refund

Cancelling from Manage subscription in the app stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current period by itself: your license stays active until that period ends.

Buying for a business

The EU right of withdrawal protects consumers. If you buy Trau for a business, refunds follow the refund rule above.
